The CFO Services team 

Our CFO Services team helps businesses with their financial reporting and accounting needs in all areas of the business lifecycle. The team works across a wide range of industries, to advise clients on matters such as interpretation and implementation of standards, preparation and consolidation of financial statements, and for accounting for business transactions.

Responsibilities 

Financial statement preparation and bookkeeping 

  • Assist in preparing financial statements, including consolidated reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS and Singapore GAAP standards. 
  • Support the team in performing bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, managing ledgers, and reconciling accounts for clients. 
  • Conduct initial reviews of financial disclosures to ensure regulatory and stakeholder expectations for accuracy and transparency are met. 
  • Assist with statutory financial statement preparation, liaising with auditors to streamline the audit process. 

Technical Accounting Advisory 

  • Support the team in addressing complex accounting issues under IFRS and Singapore GAAP, including areas like revenue recognition, lease accounting, and financial instruments. 
  • Assist in drafting accounting memos and technical position papers for complex transactions. 
  • Conduct research on accounting topics. 

Stakeholder Management 

  • Build collaborative relationships with client finance teams and support senior team members in engaging with management and regulatory bodies on accounting and regulatory reporting matters. 
  • Work closely with internal teams, including audit, tax, and advisory, to support client needs comprehensively. 

Qualifications and requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field 
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply 
  • Minimum 1 year of progressive audit experience, or experience in providing Accounting services (bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, accounting advise etc) in or mid-tier accounting firm. 
  • Experience in financial statement preparation preferred 
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and financial concepts 
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, XERO accounting software and report writing software 
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites
